Archive Contacts
1. Select Contacts from the global navigation bar.
2. Choose Contact List on the secondary navigation menu.
3. Select each contact you want to archive by clicking the in-line checkbox.
4. Click on the archive contacts icon.
This icon is located in the top-right corner and looks like a document box.
Restore Archived Contacts
1. Click on the Options menu in the top right corner.
2. Select Archived contacts from the dropdown menu.
3. As needed, input a search for a specific contact.
4. Click Unarchive next to each contact you wish to restore to your contact list.
5. Click Done to return to the contact list.
Delete Archived Contacts
1. Navigate to the Contact List in Canopy and click on the Options menu.
2. Select Archived contacts from the pop-out menu.
3. Click Delete next to each contact you want to permanently delete from Canopy.
Use the provided search box to search for a specific contact.
Deleting a Contact is Permanent: Once you delete a contact from Canopy, it cannot be restored. Please be certain that you want to delete the contact.
4. Click Done to return to the Contact List
Delete Contacts from Contact Records
1. Select Contacts from the global navigation bar.
2. Type the contact name in the Search contacts... field and select their name.
3. Click the dropdown arrow in the contact record and select Delete.
4. Review the information in the warning popup and select Delete contact.
View Deleted Contacts
1. Select your profile picture/initials and click on Activity Log.
2. Select the dropdown arrow on the Action taken column and apply the Deleted filter.
3. View information for Deleted contacts.
Information includes:
- Action taken (Deleted)
- Action taken by (Team member)
- Date
- Contact
Note: Keep in mind that you cannot view deleted contacts. View deleted contacts in the Activity Log to have more visibility on who deleted a contact and when.
