To assign a team member to multiple clients, you will need to be an admin user. If you are not an admin user in Canopy, your account settings will not show any Team Members options. For more information about admin permissions, refer to the Team Member Permissions article. 1. Click on your profile on the global navigation bar.

2. Choose Settings on the pop-out menu.
3. Click Team Members in the left-side column.
4. Select the team member you wish to assign to multiple clients by clicking the blue link in the Contacts Assigned column.
- If the team member is an admin user, the blue link will read Manage Notifications
- If the team member is a basic user, the blue link will read View & Manage.
5. On the Edit Team Member Access screen, click Assign New Contacts.
- To assign all of the contacts in Canopy to this team member, click the options icon to the right of the Assign New Contacts button.
- Click Assign All Contacts.
- The Edit Team Member Access screen will update and display All Contacts Selected.
- Click Save Changes.
6. In the pop-up search window, input a name for a specific client.
7. Select the client(s) you wish to assign to your team member by clicking the client’s name.
- Each name you click will appear in the Edit Team Member Access window.
- Click Done to close the search window.
8. Click Save Changes.
The Edit Team Member Access window will close.
Copy Contacts to a Team Member
To start this process, click on your profile on the global navigation bar.
1. Choose Settings on the pop-out menu.
2. In the left column, click Team Members.
3. Select the team member you wish to assign to multiple clients by clicking the blue link in the Contacts Assigned column.
- If the team member is an admin user, the blue link will read Manage Notifications.
- If the team member is a basic user, the blue link will read View & Manage.
4. On the Edit Team Member Access screen, click the Options icon to the right of the Assign New Contacts button.
5. Click Copy contacts from.
6. Select the team member you wish to copy contacts from in the pop-up window.
- You can select more than one team member.
- Contacts copied will show on the Edit Team Member Access screen highlighted in blue .
- Click Done.
7. Click Save Changes.
The Edit Team Member Access window will close.
Reassign Contacts
To start this process, click on your profile on the global navigation bar.
1. Choose Settings on the pop-out menu.
2. In the left column, click Team Members.
3. Select the team member you wish to reassign to multiple clients by clicking the blue link in the Contacts Assigned column.
- If the team member is an admin user, the blue link will read Manage Notifications.
- If the team member is a basic user, the blue link will read View & Manage.
4. On the Edit Team Member Access screen, click the Options icon to the right of the Assign New Contacts button.
5. Click Reassign Contacts from.
6. Select the team member who will have contacts reassigned from the pop up window.
- You can select more than one team member.
- Contacts reassigned will show on the Edit Team Member Access screen highlighted in blue.
7. Click Done.
8. Click Save changes.
Remove All Contacts From Team Members
To get started, click on your profile on the global navigation bar.
1. Choose Settings on the pop-out menu.
2. In the left column, click Team Members.
3. Select the team member you wish to assign to multiple clients by clicking the blue link in the Contacts Assigned column.
- If the team member is an admin user, the blue link will read Manage Notifications.
- If the team member is a basic user, the blue link will read View & Manage.
4. On the Edit Team Member Access screen, click the Options icon to the right of the Assign New Contacts button.
5. Click Remove all contacts.
Contacts removed will immediately be erased from the Edit Team Member Access screen.
