Purpose

To track the number of open tasks assigned to each team member, grouped by task status and weekly due dates, enabling managers to monitor upcoming deadlines, workload distribution, and task progression over time.

Need-to-know Glossary of Terms

  • Task Count - Number of tasks.

  • Task Due Date - Date a task is due.

  • Task Status - Designation that indicates the current state of a task (e.g. in progress, with client, completed).

  • Task Assignee - Team Member assigned to the task.


Report Structure Overview

  • Task Due Date filter - Filtered to capture the previous 30 days and next 60 days

  • Row - Task Assignee

  • Expanded Row Level 2- Task Status

  • Column - Task Due Date organized weekly

  • Values - tasks due for each team member that week

  • Grand Total - Total for each row


Tips & Tricks

Want to add a hyperlink to the task in question?
1. Type Task URL to the search bar at the top of the screen and click Go.
2. Navigate to the Configure panel on the right hand side.
3. Scroll down to the Not Visualized section at the bottom of the page and drag Task URL under Task Status in the Rows section.
4. Press Apply.


Primary Use Case Scenario

A Team Lead reviews this report weekly to see which staff members have tasks due in the next several weeks and identify overdue tasks or those stuck in early statuses.

A structured view of task volume by assignee and due date with easy identification of team members with upcoming task backlogs or overdue items.
