Apply Multiple Templates in One eSign Request
Firms can now apply multiple eSign templates within a single request and place each template anywhere in the document. This removes the need for manual field placement when working with long or variable-length files.
Engagement Packages (Client Portal & Web)
Engagement Packages are now live, allowing firms to present service options (such as good, better, best) directly within engagements. Clients can review and select their preferred package, making it easier for firms to offer upsells and service variations.
Place eSign Signatures with AI (Beta)
Users can now automatically place signature and date fields using AI instead of manually dragging fields into eSign documents. This experimental feature scans documents, identifies signature locations, and inserts fields that can be reviewed before sending.
Engagements on the Client Record
Engagements are now visible directly on the client record, including a dedicated Engagements tab. This reduces navigation and improves transparency into active and past engagements.
Accepted Payment Method Settings (Mobile Support)
The Canopy mobile apps now support configurable accepted payment methods, aligning with upcoming web functionality. Firms using Canopy Payments will be able to enable or disable credit, debit, and ACH payments directly from their settings.
Tax Resolution Forms Update
Several new and updated Tax Resolution forms are now available, including additional federal, state, and U.S. Tax Court forms. These updates ensure firms have access to the latest commonly used resolution documents.
Customize Accepted Payment Methods in Canopy Payments
Firms can now choose which payment methods they accept in Canopy Payments, including credit cards, debit cards, and ACH. This gives firms greater control over processing fees, compliance, and payment policies.
Tags on Tasks
Tasks now support both client tags and custom task tags, which can be filtered and managed directly from the task list. This improves work organization and eliminates the need to overload task titles with status or categorization details.
New Payment Settings Page
The Payment Settings page has been redesigned with clearer organization, improved layout, and better visual hierarchy. All existing payment settings remain available, now in a more streamlined and easier-to-manage interface.
