Annotate Files in the Canopy Practitioner App [iPad + Apple Pencil]
Updated over a week ago

Canopy files can be annotated directly within Canopy. Currently, firm members can only see annotations and will not be visible to clients. Annotations provide an excellent way to communicate with firm members and make any necessary notes on a file. For an optimal experience, use your Apple Pencil to annotate!

Note: Only Files that have been saved to Canopy Files can be annotated

1. Navigate to open a relevant file's File Previewer on the app.

2. To start annotating, select Annotate under the

icon.

Additionally, you can click the Shapes tab to select a shape to add to the document, or the View tab to view the document.

3. Select an annotation tool to apply to the file.
