Purpose
To measure the estimated revenue value of all billable time entries logged year-to-date. This helps evaluate how much potential revenue has been generated through staff effort and services.

Need-to-Know Glossary of Terms
Line Item Billable Amount - This is the amount shown in the amount column in the edit invoice view. This is equal to the line item rate time the quantity.
Line Item Billed Amount - This is the amount billed for the line item shown on the far right column of the invoice (this does not include taxes).
Time Entry Billable Amount - This is the amount the time entry could be billed based on the current service/user rate. If the time entry has already been billed, this rate gets locked in place based on what the rates were on the invoice date.
Invoice Date - The date listed on the invoice as invoice date.
Invoice is Archived - Attribute that allows you to filter whether you want to include invoices that are archived or not.
Report Structure Overview
Invoice Date Filter - Filtered for the current year (year-to-date).
Invoice is Archived Filter - Filter showing that archived invoices are not included in the revenue totals.
Time Entry Billable amount - Amount that the time entry could be billed on the current service/user rate for the current year (year-to-date).
Suggested Modifications: Want to see the full number instead of an abbreviated unit? Navigate to the Configuration icon and update the Unit field from Auto to None.
Primary Use Case Scenario
This KPI can help CFO's to monitor the firm's workload-to-revenue pipeline. It's reviewed in tandem with actual billed revenue to assess billing efficiency and team productivity.
Actionable Insights
Provides visibility into the total value of work performed, even if it hasn't been invoiced yet and encourages timely invoicing, since unbilled time is easily tracked and quantified.
