Purpose
To track the average number of hours logged so far on tasks that are still open (not yet completed), providing insight into how much effort has already been spent on in-progress work.

Need-to-know Glossary of Terms
- Task Status - Designation that indicates the current state of a task (e.g. in progress, with client, completed). 
- Average Task Logged Hours - Average total hours logged to a task (this is done by adding the keyword average before the data point Task Logged Hours). 
Report Structure Overview
- Task Budgeted Hours filter - Filtered to include tasks with more than O budgeted hours 
- Task Status filter - Filtered to exclude completed tasks 
- KPI Value - Average Open Task Logged Hours 
Suggested Modifications
Want to see average completed task logged hours instead? 
1. Hover over the KPI and select the Explore button on the top right corner.
2. Select the Task Status != completed filter bubble and in the Exclude tab, unselect Completed. 
3. Select the Include tab and check the box next to Completed.
4. Press Apply.
Primary Use Case Scenario
An Operations Manager reviews this report weekly to monitor how much time has been invested on open tasks to date.
