To track the average number of hours logged so far on subtasks that are still open (not yet completed), providing insight into how much effort has already been spent on in-progress work.

Need-to-know Glossary of Terms
- Subtask Budgeted Hours - Total hours budgeted to a subtask. 
- Subtask Status - Current state of a subtask within a workflow (e.g. not started, in progress, with client, completed, etc.) 
- Subtask Logged Hours - Total hours logged to a subtask. 
- average Subtask Logged Hours - keyword operator ‘average’ which finds the average of the logged hours for all subtasks not yet completed. 
Report Structure Overview
- Subtask Budgeted Hours filter - Filtered to include subtasks with more than O budgeted hours. 
- Subtask Status filter - Filtered to exclude completed subtasks 
- KPI Value - Average Open Subtask Logged Hours 
Suggested Modifications
Want to see average completed subtask logged hours instead? 
1. Hover over the KPI and select the Explore button on the top right corner.
2. Select the Subtask Status != completed filter bubble and in the Exclude tab, unselect Completed. 
3. Select the Include tab and check the box next to Completed.
4. Press Apply.

An Operations Manager reviews this report weekly to monitor how much time has been invested on open subtasks to date.
