Need-to-know Glossary of Terms

  • Invoice Date - The date listed on the invoice as Invoice Date.

  • Line Item Billed Amount - This is the amount billed for the line item shown on the far right column of the invoice.

  • Service Item Name - Refers to the designation used to identify the specific service billed to the client.

  • Time Entry Hours - This is a measure of Time Entry Hours that have been billed.


Report Structure Overview

  • Service Item Name filter - Filters out any service items with {Null} as the name

  • Invoice Date filter - Filtered for invoices dated this year

  • Category & Size - Service Item Name and sized by line item billed amount

  • Slice with Color legend - Time Entry Hours


Suggested Modifications

Want to change the color scheme?

  • Navigate to the Configure icon on the right hand side.

  • Select Total Time Entry Hours under Slice with Color.

  • Navigate to the Gradient section and select the Edit button.

  • Adjust the color settings to your liking.

  • Press Save on the bottom right hand side.


Primary Use Case Scenario

A Managing Partner reviews this report quarterly to see which service items contribute the most revenue (largest rectangles) and easily be able to compare effort versus return by using color shading.
