Link a Connection to a Client
Updated over a week ago

What's in this Article

Linking connections to a primary client helps you easily find and view spouses, dependents, and important clients. You can add spouse, dependent, and important client information to an Individual primary client.

You can also mark connections as Inactive to hide them from the client list and not count towards your client limit. Learn how to mark connections as inactive by visiting the Mark Connections as Inactive article.

Please Note: There are three different client types that you can link to a client's record:

  • Spouse

  • Dependents

  • Important Clients

Access to these linked clients depends if your client is an individual or a business:

Individuals: Spouse, Dependents, and Important Clients

Businesses: Only Important Clients
