Set Comments Permissions

The Comments feature is a great way for you and your team members to communicate internally in Canopy.

Reminder: Remember that your team members must be assigned to the Client Management license to use the Comments feature!

Set Comments Permissions

To view Comments permissions:

  1. Click on your Avatar or Initials Menu (at the bottom left of the navigation bar)

  2. Navigate to Settings

  3. Click Access and Permissions

  4. Select a Permission Set

  5. Look for the section on Comments

Here, you can switch on or off the following permissions:

View Comment Feeds

View comment feeds and the comment inbox.

Create, Reply, and React to Comments

Create comments, @ mention team members or teams, reply within comment feeds, and react to comments. Without access, comment feeds are read-only.

This permission is only available when "View Comment Feeds" is turned on.

Edit Comments

Edit one's own comments.

This permission is only available when "View Comment Feeds" and "Create, Reply and React to Comments" are turned on.

Remove Team Members from Comment Threads

Access to remove any team member from a comment thread.

This permission is only available when "View Comment Feeds" is turned on.
