Use the Contact List

The Contact List is an organized, filterable directory that gives you a glance at clients or accounts, all in one place. First, let's find the Contact List.

1. From the Navigation Bar, click Clients

2. Click Contact List

Now, let's review the features found in the Contact List.

Features Overview

Add Client

Add a new client to Canopy by clicking Add contact.

Manage Clients Within the Client List

Right-click on a client line to Edit contact, Resend portal invite, Remove portal access, or Send email.

Note: If the contact has not been invited to the client portal, the actions available would be to Edit contact or send email.

Search Client List

Now search for clients more easily. Possible results populate as you type within the search bar.

Export Filtered Contact Lists

Pagination

Choose how many contacts to view on each page, or even show all contacts on one page.

Customize the Client List

Choose which column attributes to make visible in each Contact List from the attributes of Client, and Client Portal.

Edit Filter Views

Preset filter views can be duplicated. Any filter you create will have the options to Rename, Share list, Hide filter view, Duplicate, and Delete. This is also where you can reorder the listed filtered views.

More Options Menu

Export filtered lists, Import contacts, and the option to change viewing the contact name column by First Name, Last name or Last Name, First Name.
