How do I adjust document classification or leave feedback on the AI renaming tool?

Learn how to update a document’s classification if the AI renaming tool assigned it incorrectly, and how to leave feedback on the tool’s performance.


Required Plan, License, and Permissions

  • Document Management License Required

  • This feature is available to users with access to the Document AI tool and the Client Files section.


Why does this matter to an accountant/admin?

Keeping document classifications accurate ensures your files are properly organized and easier to find. Leaving feedback on the AI tool helps improve future accuracy.

Adjust a document’s classification

  1. Navigate to the Client Files section and locate a file that was classified by the AI tool.

  2. Click the three-dot icon next to the file.

  3. Select View Details from the menu.

  4. Under the Classification section:

    • Update the document type, year, and/or issuer if the AI’s classification was incorrect.

    • Once you’ve made your changes, click Save to apply them.


Leave feedback on the AI tool

  1. In the same Classification section of the file details:

  2. Click the thumbs up or thumbs down icon to indicate whether the AI classification was correct.

  3. Optionally, type additional feedback into the text field to help improve the AI’s accuracy.

  4. Click Send feedback


Summary

You can correct AI-assigned document details directly from the Client Files section and provide feedback to help improve the AI tool’s future performance.
