Need-to-Know Glossary of Terms
Line Item Billable Amount - This is the amount shown in the amount column in the edit invoice view. This is equal to the line item rate time the quantity.
Invoice Date - The date listed on the invoice as invoice date.
Billed Revenue Formula - Line Item Billed Amount (excludes taxes).
sum (Line Item Billed Amount)
Cumulative Revenue Formula - A cumulative sum of the line item billed amount tracked by invoice date.
cumulative_sum (Line Item Billed Amount, Invoice Date)
Invoice is Archived - True if invoice is archived, false if it is not.
Report Structure Overview
Invoice Date Filter - Filtered for the previous 365 days.
Invoice is Archived Filter - Filter showing that archived invoices are not included in the revenue totals.
Y-axis - Billed Revenue (sum of all Line Item Billed Amount excludes taxes).
X-axis - Invoice Date weekly time bucket.
Y-axis - Cumulative Revenue (of Line Item Billed Amount excludes taxes).
Value Labels - Defaulted to display Cumulative Revenue Labels.
Legend - Subtask types segmented by color.
Suggested Modifications: Want to see all data labels and not just the Cumulative Revenue?
Navigate to the Configure panel on the right hand side.
Select the Settings tab.
Check the box next to All labels.
Primary Use Case Scenario
This report can be used by billing managers and firm partners to track how much revenue is being billed each week, compare current weekly billing to prior weeks, and identify billing consistency or spikes.
