Assign Outlook Emails to Folders

You can move and assign your Outlook emails to different folders in the global inbox. All changes made in the global inbox will be reflected on your Outlook account.

Assign Outlook Emails to a Folder

1. Go to the Global Inbox on the nav bar and select a relevant email.

2. Click on the Folder icon.

3. Select a folder to assign the email to.

  • Outlook emails must be assigned to a folder. By default, they are assigned to the Inbox folder.

  • Outlook emails can only be assigned to one folder.

  • The current folder is indicated by a green checkmark.

4. Click Done to confirm your changes.

Add New Folders to Your Outlook Account

1. Select and open a relevant email.

2. Click on the Folder icon in the quick actions menu.

3. Click Add new folder at the bottom of the pop-out menu.

4. Input a New folder name in the provided text box.

5. Click Save new folder.

  • Alternatively, press Enter or Return on your keyboard.

  • The folder will be added to the list of available folders.

Edit Email Folders for Your Outlook Account

1. Select and open a relevant email.

2. Click on the Folder icon in the quick actions menu.

3. Click on the Pencil icon at the bottom of the pop-out menu.

4. On the Edit Email Folders pop-out, click on the Pencil icon in-line with the folder you want to edit.

5. Make any changes in the associated text box.

6. Click on the in-line Save icon.

7. Click Finish to close the Edit Email Folders modal.
