How do I review and sign an Engagement in the Canopy Client Portal App?

You can review, sign, and submit an Engagement or Proposal directly from the Canopy Client Portal App. The app makes it easy to view services, terms, and payment details on your mobile device.


Why it matters

Engagements outline services, billing, and responsibilities between you and your practitioner. Completing them in the app provides a convenient, secure, and mobile-friendly way to agree and move forward quickly.

Open the Engagement

  1. Login to the Canopy Client Portal App.

  2. Go to your To-do list.

  3. Tap the Engagement or Proposal you want to review.


Review the Introduction

  • On the Introduction page, read your practitioner’s message.

  • There may be media included, such as documents or videos to view or download.

  • Tap Start to continue.


Review Services

  1. On the Services tab, review the services included in the proposal along with their associated rates and fees.

  2. Tap the Service Description dropdown for more details on each service.

  3. Scroll down to ensure you review all information.

  4. Tap Next when ready.


Review Terms

  1. On the Terms tab, review any general terms as well as service-specific terms.

  2. Tap the checkbox to agree to the terms.

  3. Tap Next to continue.


Review Payment Details

  • Some engagements may include payment requirements.

  1. Review the Engagement total and any payment due at acceptance.

  2. Select a saved payment method, or add a new credit/debit card or bank account.

  3. Tap the checkbox to authorize the payment method.

  4. Tap Next.

  5. If new payment information was added, tap Confirm in the pop-up to finalize payment details.


Sign and Accept

  1. On the Sign and Accept page, confirm your signature is correct.

  2. Tap the checkbox to confirm the signature.

  3. Tap Accept.


Confirmation

  • After accepting, a confirmation pop-up appears.

  • (Optional) Tap View to immediately review the engagement.

  • You can also return later and expand the tabs to review each section as needed.
