Document Management
Streamline your workflow with our AI Document Renaming feature. It automatically identifies documents like W-2s, 1099s, and bank statements, then applies your custom naming conventions—saving time and ensuring consistent, organized files.
We’ve refreshed the file-moving workflow to make it smoother and more intuitive. You can now clearly see which files you’re moving and easily choose the destination—whether it’s a specific client, connection, or client group.
Time & Billing
Time entries can now be locked manually or automatically according to pay periods—giving you greater control over time tracking. Admins can manage who has permission to lock or unlock entries, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Clients will now receive a downloadable PDF copy of the invoice directly in reminder emails. This makes it easy for them to view, download, or print the invoice whenever they need it.
When time entries are grouped on an invoice, WU/WD amounts are now distributed proportionally based on time worked, rather than evenly. This ensures fair and accurate allocation, so team members are compensated in line with the time they contributed when adjustments are applied.
Engagements
We’ve refreshed the Client Engagement interface with a cleaner design and a more intuitive flow. Clients can now navigate the engagement acceptance process more smoothly, making it easier and faster to work started.
You can now download an active Engagement as a PDF. Simply select an active Engagement in the Engagements List and click the download button.
Canopy Mobile App
Now you can easily create and manage Client Groups on the Canopy Practitioner app, as well as add and remove Client Connections.
