You can build a questionnaire from scratch, start with a pre-built template, or use AI to generate one automatically. When using AI, you can provide a prompt or upload a file, then customize the sections, questions, and file upload fields as needed.


How do I create and use AI-Powered Document Checklists?

AI-Powered Document Checklists use artificial intelligence to draft document request lists for tax preparation, saving time and reducing missed items. The tool currently supports only tax-related workflows (individual and business) and is best for collecting standard tax documents during prep season. This feature is in beta, with ongoing improvements expected.


How do I automatically rename documents using AI?

The Document Renaming AI identifies forms like W-2s, 1099s, and tax returns, applying your naming rules automatically to keep files organized and consistent.
You’ll enable document settings, define your naming convention, and use the Rename Files AI to rename and organize files in bulk.


How do I send a Questionnaire using a Secure link?

If a client’s original questionnaire link has expired or you need to send it to additional contacts, you can generate and send a secure link.


Clients can complete the questionnaire without logging into the portal, offering flexibility and convenience.


How do I pre-fill a Questionnaire using AI?

AI Questionnaire Pre-fill saves time by using data already in the client record—like contact info, notes, and uploaded documents—to automatically fill in responses.
This feature is available for new questionnaires created after enabling AI Pre-fill in Experimental Features.
