Need-to-Know Glossary of Terms

  • Subtask ID - ID assigned to a subtask, every subtask has unique ID. This can be used to separate subtasks that may have the exact same name in Canopy.

  • Subtask Count - Number of subtasks.

  • Subtask Creation Date - Date a subtask was created.

  • Subtask Type - Subtask categories (client request, notice, subtask).


Report Structure Overview

  1. Subtask Creation Date Filter - Filters previous 365 days (1 year)

  2. Subtask ID Filter - Filtering out subtasks with no or {Null} ID

  3. Y-Axis - Subtask Count

  4. X-Axis - Subtask Creation Date monthly

  5. Subtask Count - Number of subtasks created that month

  6. Legend - Subtask types segmented by color

Suggested Modifications: Prefer to see more detail labels?

  1. Navigate to the Configure panel on the right hand side.

  2. Select Subtask Count.

  3. Click the checkbox next to Detail labels.


Primary Use Case Scenario

A team lead uses this report during weekly or monthly reviews to see how many subtasks are being generated and adjust staffing needs as needed.


Actionable Insights

Understand workload trends by observing subtask volume changes month over month. Identify service demand patterns to plan for seasonal surges.
