Purpose

To provide a quick visual summary of all currently open tasks segmented by their staus, helping teams monitor task flow and identify bottlenecks.

Need-to-Know Glossary of Terms

  • Task Type - Task category (client requests, esign requests, tasks).
    ​

  • Task Count - Number of tasks.
    ​

  • Task Status - Current state of a task within a workflow (e.g., not started, with client, in progress, completed, etc.).


Report Structure Overview

  1. Task Status Filter - Filter excludes completed tasks

  2. Task Type Filter - Filtered for client request, esign request, and tasks.

  3. Task Status Slices - Displays task status, task count in that status, and percentage of whole.

Suggested Modifications: Prefer to see open tasks by team members?

  1. Navigate to the Configure panel on the right hand side.

  2. Replace Status with Assignee under Category. You can do this by dragging Status to the Not Visualized section and moving Assignee to the Category space.

  3. Click Apply on the bottom left hand corner.


Primary Use Case Scenario

A department manager reviews this report during a weekly check-in to understand the distribution of open tasks by status. For example, if a larger percentage of tasks are stuck in "Waiting on Client," the manager may coordinate with the his team members to follow up.


Actionable Insights

Immediate visibility into how work is progressing across open tasks and support workload rebalancing if too many tasks are still in "not started" or "in progress".
