Need-to-Know Glossary of Terms

  • Task Type - Task category (client requests, esign requests, tasks).

  • Task Count - Number of tasks.

  • Task Assignee - Staff member assigned to the Task.

  • Task Status - Current state of a task within a workflow (e.g., not started, with client, in progress, completed, etc.).

Report Structure Overview

  1. Task Status Filter - Filtered for client request, esign request, and tasks

  2. Values - Task Counts

  3. Rows - Task Assignees

  4. Column - Task Statuses.

Suggested Modifications: Want to set up a color conditioning rule to highlight when task counts are over/under a certain number?

  1. Navigate to the Configure panel on the right hand side.

  2. Select Task Count.

  3. Scroll down to Conditional formatting and click the +Add Rule button.

  4. In this example, there is a rule to shade in red any cell with a number greater than 20.

Primary Use Case Scenario

A team lead uses this report in weekly team meetings to review staff workload and task progression. For instance, they might notice that one employee has a high number of tasks 'in progress' while another has many in 'not started' prompting a conversation about workload distribution.

Actionable Insights

Visibility into team workload by showing how many tasks each assignee has across various statuses. Identify imbalances in tasks assignment to support workload reallocation.
