To visualize and compare the total number fo hours logged by each team member per month, allowing leadership to assess workload distribution, productivity, and capacity planning across the firm.

Time Entry Start date - Rolling date filter of previous 365 days.


Need-to-Know Glossary of Terms

  • Time Entry Hours - Length of time entry.

  • Time Entry Start Date - The starting timestamp of time entry duration.

  • Service Item Name - Refers to the designation used to identify the specific service billed to the client.

  • Time Entry User Name - The name of the team member who logged time.


Report Structure Overview

  1. Time Entry Start Date Filter - Filtered for the previous 365 days (1 year)

  2. Row - Time Entry User Name

  3. Expanded Row Level 2 - Service Item Name

  4. Column - Time Entry Start Date organized monthly

  5. Expanded Column Level 2 - Time Entry Start Date broken down weekly

  6. Values - Time Entry Hours

  7. Grand Total - Total for each row

Suggested Modifications: Prefer to see the summary of total time entry hours at the top instead of the bottom?

  1. Navigate to the Configure panel on the right hand side.

  2. Choose the Settings tab.

  3. Scroll down to the Summary Position section.

  4. Select Top.


Primary Use Case Scenario

A Senior Manager uses this report to identify team members who are consistency over or under logged in terms of hours. This report can also be sued to investigate unusual trends, such as spices or drops in hour for specific individuals.

Actionable Insights

Gives a clear snapshot of workload distribution across team members and early identification of potential burnout risks or disengagement. This report can also be used to quickly spot discrepancies in time tracking.
