The Applications tab on the Folder Templates page shows a history of every folder template applied in bulk and lets you undo an application across all affected clients at once.
Undoing a bulk template application removes the empty folders created by that template across all affected clients — without touching any client where files have already been added to those folders.
Table of Contents
Undo a Folder Template Application
Click Templates on the global navigation bar, then click Folder.
Click Applications in the upper right corner.
The Folder Template Applications modal opens, showing a log of every bulk template application: template name, who applied it, date, and number of clients.
Locate the application you want to undo and click Undo.
In the confirmation modal, review the template name and client count, then click Undo to confirm.
A "Undo started" notification appears and the Undo Status column updates as folders are removed.
Once complete, the application is removed from the list.
When Undo Can't Remove All Clients
If files have already been added to any folders created by the template, those clients are skipped during the undo. Canopy will identify which clients and folders need a manual review so you know exactly where to follow up.
To remove folders from a client that was skipped, navigate to that client's folder view and archive the folders manually.

Summary
The Applications tab gives you a full history of bulk folder template applications and lets you reverse them in one action. If any clients already have files in the affected folders, Canopy flags them for manual cleanup rather than removing files automatically.
