Access the WIP Report

You can create reports for any Work In Progress (WIP) you have with a client(s). WIP reports can be added to invoices, allowing you to bill clients at any time while working on a project rather than only when a project is complete. You can also print or export the WIP Reports from Canopy.

1. Navigate to Time on the globe navigation bar

2. Click WIP Report

Team Member

Drop-down menu will filter by team member assigned to the time entry

Owner

Drop-down menu to filter by the owner of the client

Group By

Drop-down will filter time entries by either Client or Client Group

When selecting Client, an additional option for "Client" will allow to filter to see only specific time entries for the desired client selected

When selecting Client Group, all time entries that have been added to any client within a client group will display

This will also display an option for an additional option to pick which client group you would like to view if needed

Service Item

The drop-down allows for filtering down to a specific service item

Date Filter

By Default, the date filter will default to the last 30 days. The date filter can be applied for any of the following:

  • Today

  • Yesterday

  • This week

  • Last week

  • This month

  • Last month

  • Year to date

  • Custom

Show scheduled auto-link time

This will display any time entries that will be automatically added to a recurring invoice

Print

Please Note: If there is a large amount of data to print, there will be a pop-up letting you know that we'll email you a PDF when your data finishes processing.

Export to CSV file using the option menu
