Engagement Credits
This article helps you identify your Engagement credit setup if your Account Management page doesn't match what's described in the main Client Credits article.
Required: Applies to firms using Engagements on legacy CRM or legacy pricing configurations.
Why it matters: Canopy is currently migrating accounts to a new platform. Depending on when your firm joined and which plan you're on, your Engagement credit experience may differ from the standard flow.

How to Identify Your Account Type
Start here to determine which situation applies to your firm.
Step 1 — Check your Account Management page
Navigate to Profile icon > Settings > Account Management.
Review what appears on your subscription page.
If you see no Client Engagement or Client Management module, you are on the new pricing and packaging structure. Engagement credits are required and can be purchased from Account Management. See Situation 3.
If you see a Client Engagement Module or Client Management module, continue to Step 2.
Step 2 — Identify your CRM version
Navigate to Clients.
Click the column settings icon to view available columns.
If Client Group is available as a column option, you are on CRM 2. See Situation 2.
If Client Group is not available, you are on CRM 1. See Situation 1.
Which Situation Applies to Me
Situation 1 — CRM 1, legacy pricing, Client Management module
Your Account Management page shows a Client Management module (not Client Engagement). Engagement credits are required to send Engagements, but self-serve purchase is not available for your account type.
To purchase Engagement credits, contact Support.
Situation 2 — CRM 2, legacy pricing, no Client Engagement Module
Your Account Management page does not show a Client Engagement Module. You have unlimited Engagement access and do not need to purchase credits.
Situation 3 — CRM 2, legacy pricing, Client Engagement Module present
Your Account Management page shows a Client Engagement Module. Engagement credits are required and can be purchased directly from Account Management. See How to Purchase Credits for Your Account below.
How to Purchase Credits for Your Account
Skip this section if you are in Situation 1 (contact Support instead) or Situation 2 (unlimited access, no purchase needed).
Navigate to Profile icon > Settings.
Select Account Management from the side menu.
Click Purchase credits next to Engagements.
Enter the number of credits to purchase (minimum 25).
Review the Terms of Use.
Click Continue to complete the purchase.
Credit purchases are pro-rated and renew with your subscription cycle.
