Task Comments Inbox
The Task Comments Inbox gives you a single view of all active task comment threads across your clients β it does not include client messages or email (coming in a future release).

Required: Workflow license. Admin permissions, or Staff permissions with Tasks and Comments enabled.

Why it matters: Stay on top of internal task communication without opening each task individually β see unread activity at a glance and jump straight to any thread from one place.

Access the Task Comments Inbox
Log in to the Canopy mobile app.
Tap the Inbox tab.
Tap the Task Comments tab.
Threads are grouped by client and show the task title, last @mention, comment preview, and date/time of the most recent comment.
A blue dot indicates unread activity on each thread.
Heads Up! Client messages is a new feature coming soon!
Open and Reply to a Thread
Tap a thread from the Inbox list to open it.
Tap the Send a comment field and type your reply.
Tap the Send icon to post.

Search for a Comment Thread
Skip this section if you can locate your thread by scrolling the Inbox list.
Tap the search bar at the top of the Task Comments tab to search by team member.
Type a client name, task name, or keyword to filter results.
Tap a result to open the thread.β
